The beauty of an app like GarageBand for iOS is that you no longer need to spend ludicrous amounts of money renting studio time or wait until your ‘big break’ to write, record and release your own music.
Expert's rating: GarageBand is an app most people have probably played with at some point. For a great many iOS device owners, it's free, and even for those who've not activated a device after September 2014, it only costs five quid. But GarageBand on iOS has also for much of its history sat in an awkward space. How to use GarageBand on iPhone & iPad GarageBand is a great way to quickly create music on your iPhone or iPad. We show how to get started with one of Apple's best software offerings. The iLife version of GarageBand still has no smart instruments like the IOS version. You probably don't have a touch screen on your Mac.
